Lois Wasson Provart

	Lois Wasson Provart, 93, of Farmington, MO, formerly of DuQuoin, passed away at 8:10 p.m. Sunday, January 2, 2000 at the Parkland Health Center in Farmington, MO.
	Lois was a homemaker and a member of the First Baptist Church of DuQuoin.
	She was born May 19, 1906 at Cutler, the daughter of James Edward and Margaret (Hardy) Wasson.  
	She married Lyle Dean Provart on September 1, 1928 at DuQuoin and he preceded her in death on March 12, 1984.
	She is survived by one daughter, Doris Gower and husband Glen of Farmington, MO; one grandson, David Bergfeld and wife Pat of Farmington, MO; one great-granddaughter, Marissa N. Bergfeld of Farmington, MO; one great-grandson, Justin Bergfeld of Farmington, MO and one brother, Raymond Dean Wasson and wife Tillie of Lavonia, Mich.
	She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; two brothers, Herbert and Bernard Wasson and two sisters, Gertrude Schmidt and Erma Daly.
	Funeral services were Thursday, January 6 at 1 p.m. at the Searby Funeral Home in DuQuoin with Rev. Bob Dickerson officiating.
	Friends were able to call from 11 a.m. until 1 p.m. Thursday at the Searby Funeral Home in DuQuoin.  
	Interment was in the IOOF Cemetery at DuQuoin.
	Friends may make memorials to the First Baptist Church of DuQuoin or the Humane Society.
